new paradigm idea: chunks/descriptors and such are GPU resident until readback. Just send the new voxels/descriptors and such for the gpu to slot in its memory

pool & chunk descriptor stuff, kind of get centroids looking alright, now for the harder part... outputting this all to actual vertices/indices (or maybe we output quads?)
